BKK Day 1

11th November 2017
Flew with SIA because i'm travelling with my parents.
Grabbed the tickets during a promo and it was: $170/pax
Reached Bkk and took a taxi to Picnic Hotel.
Triple room with breakfast included.
$120/night (Triple room: 3 proper beds)

I actually made reservations at Berkley hotel for a triple room.
But because that room did not come with breakfast and dad prefers hotel with breakfast,
I changed my reservation. Should have just went ahead and add on breakfast.

Picnic Hotel is located near Victory Monument,
which is not as central of a location as compared to Berkley.
And I would think Berkley will be more suitable when travelling with parents.
The room is pretty spacious. With a living area.
Rested for abit before getting on a cab to Seacon Square.
Dinner before visiting the Rot Fai (Train) Market.
MK for steamboat/ duck.
Chompu brought me here in the past and I thought it was nice.
But this time round, we thought the steamboat wasn't nice and was quite bland.
Duck was also not very suited to our taste.
Off to the night market that I have been visiting whenever I am in BKK.
Was contemplating between this and the new rot fai market at Ratchada.
But i'm back to this... (,:
Loving the ambience of this place and that it is still mostly filled with thai.

  1. Miss your posts!

Btw its so filial of you to bring your Parents on a trip! Coincidentally, I will also be going to Bangkok in March this year... I was looking at the theme parks as well as I have been to Bangkok once and got bored after a while... where would you recommend for entertainment? And also, for seafood?

Should I also travel out of Bangkok to Hua Hin or Khao Yai?
