30.11.2015
臺中, 鹿港, 彰化

Started my day pretty early, and i stumbled upon this traditional breakfast shop that is popular.
Apparently many locals get their breakfast here & there are posters of this appearing in shows.
Address: 400台中市中區繼光街136號
Got myself a Peanut Tauhuey: NT $30, Egg Pancake: NT $20
They are also famous for their toasts.

Slowly made my way to Gan Cheng(干城站), to take a bus to Lu Kang (鹿港)
Was pretty lost cause there isn't any signs or specific bus stops.
Asked the locals, and the stop was outside the connivence store, with just a small sign.
Do look our for the bus: 中鹿客運 (#9018).
Fare: NT $95
(No change will be given to you, so make sure you have exact amount)

Tian Hou Gong Mazu Temple- 鹿港天后宮
Lots of shops and snacks available. Most seen is oyster omelette.
Yam with meat filling inside.

Lu Kang Old Street- 鹿港老街
When you are there, you are able to see traditional Taiwanese old houses.

In Lu Kang, there are also plenty of temples.
You will stumble upon quite a few while walking through the different streets.

One popular location there- 摸乳巷, also known as the gentleman lane.

The lane is so squeezy and small, so that gentleman will allow the girls to pass by first.
Loving the red bricks here.
Lu Kang Long Shan Temple- 鹿港龍山寺
Pretty old, not too impressive as compared to the rest.
It is also much less crowded as the Mazu one, made from wood.

Spent the first half of the day exploring the place and since i was done pretty early,
i wanted to visit Rail Round house 扇形車庫 over in Chang Hua 彰化.
Hopped onto their local bus randomly and managed to get there successfully.
Of course, with the help of many nice locals that helped me along the way.

But guess what, it was closed on Monday! ):
Felt pretty booo about it. And yet there is nothing else to do there.
Thus, i took a train back to Taichung at NT $40.
Pretty cheap and the journey was really fast.
The total cost of the bus and train ride was cheaper than the single bus journey there.
Went back to Tai Chung, wanting to find a place to chill.
Passed by the one that is nearer to the train station.
The place has such a big crowd inside and out of the shop which caught my attention.
Miyaharu- 宮原眼科-醉月樓沙龍400台中市中區中山路20號2樓
Was directed to this location since i wanted a place to sit down.
Seems like a pretty big hype here.
This is actually very near my hostel and i passed by the previous day noticing many people inside.
I think they are popular for their ice-cream since this is the one with the most queue.
Yes, they do have plenty of varieties and they all look interesting as well.
They do have other desserts such as puddings, ice and all, only available in this outlet.
My 2 scoops of ice cream, ended up like this.
Simply because i topped it up with christmas set.
But that's cause i didn't know i already will have toppings to go with my ice-cream.
So i was really shock and hesitant about finishing it.
Last stop for the day, Fengjia Night Market 逢甲夜市
Take bus 25 or 35 directly outside TaiChung Train station and alight at Fengchia University.
Papaya Milkshake

These are pretty good. Smelly Tofu- NT $60.
