Nantou南投- Taipei臺北
I mentioned that i bought the Sun Moon Lake pass package that includes round trip to Taichung.
I gave the ticket away to another fellow traveller since i found out that there is a direct bus to Taipei.
I have the problem of my throat being stuck in the morning so i was clearing my throat.
I must have did it too loudly,
the person from next door came knocking at my door and passed me some medicine.
How nice fellow travellers are to one another (:
Had lots of food to munch during the bus ride.
This sandwich which i got from a breakfast store, milk and also bubble tea from 50嵐.

 Almost reaching taipei...
Checked in at my hostel with a space theme- Space Inn
100台北市中正區衡陽路51號
It is located at the basement of a really nice building.
This is kinda like a mega hostel which is really different from the ones that i stayed during my trip.
The price for this hostel seem to have increase?
Maybe they are very popular? Koreans and Japanese seem to love this place a lot.
It cost around $50 SGD/ bed for a night (8 bed dorm) right now. (Agoda)
But apparently i don't remember it being so expensive when i booked it.

But i paid only $12 SGD for all 4 nights.
(Because i redeemed my Agoda points for it)
This is how each room looks like.
The whole reception area is pretty cool and always very crowded at night.
They have toilets that is large enough to accommodate everyone and it is not a problem for me.
However, my quality of sleep here in this hostel is really bad.
Woke up at the weirdest timings for different nights.
Also, apparently it is very noisy in the morning?
People will just speak at normal volumes? So, personally other than the concept,
i don't really fancy this mega hostel.
I very much prefer smaller scale ones which has more personal touch.
But well, this is Taipei, a city that seem very much like Singapore.
Since the weather is good, i decided i should do some hiking up for the view of Taipei.
Alighted at Xiang Shang Station- 象山站,
and slowly made my way there. The walk is around 10 minutes, passing by a park.
(There are signs around, so you can just follow them)
Climb up was however tedious. Not really a very long climb, but definitely tougher than i imagine.
This is around mid way up. Sunset that day is at 5.05pm so i was rushing to get up in time.
Indeed, the view is gorgeous. Overseeing Taipei 101 and the city with a sunset.
Quite a lot people camped at that area to take photos and all also.

Stayed until the lights was on and that it was dark to catch the night view also.

Head back to taipei main station in search for the beef noodle that my friend recommend.
劉山東牛肉麵
100台北市中正區開封街一段14巷2號
It is tucked in an alley that can be easily missed, packed with locals.
Opening hours: 8am-8pm (Off on Sundays)
They have different versions, but i got the soup one.
I think their pork ribs is very popular also, since they ran out of it after i sat down for a while.
Despite them being very busy, they are very kind in telling me how i should eat it (:
Ended my day just walking around Xi Men Ding area since it is
5 min walk away from my hostel.
