Xi Tou- 溪頭
Woke up pretty early, to visit one of the attraction with the other girls that i met in the hostel.

Off to Xitou together one of the girls since we had the same plan.

Xitou Forest Recreational Area- 溪頭森林
Entrance Fees: NT $200

The weather was pretty misty and cooling for the hike which we took a few hours.
There are numerous attractions which you can take several routes to see.

A castle which we think was pretty mehh.
Skywalk which i think worth a visit. being as tall as the trees.
Took pretty long trying to figure the way out of the forest and it was a little tad scary.
Lucky i had a travel buddy with me since it was really misty and sky was turning dark.
We were pretty scared that we cannot get out in time and got stuck in the forest!
Went out to where Xitou Monster Village-溪頭妖怪村 is.
This kind of weather spent in this village really makes it ultra suitable.
It seems like halloween is here all over again.
Just that there was a little too many people there which makes it more touristy.

We were super hungry after the hike and cannot wait to start eating.
Black Wanton noodle soup, which is made up of black noodles and black wanton.
They have dry and soup versions, we both opted for soup one and they tasted pretty good.
The noodles are however not the kind of thin noodles that we expected!
Staffs dressed up in all these costumes.
I did not know all these existed and i really got a scared by one of them while walking.
Also, they have lots of interesting food around.
This is a pancake, which is made up of i think purple sweet potato?
This eye ball tang yuan which i think is pretty interesting so i bought it.
They tasted pretty normal, but i was craving for them anyway!
Couldn't resist getting ice-cream since i saw too many people eating it.
But it was a disappointment though. It wasn't the creamy kind of matcha softie that i expected.
Interesting beers that my friend bought back as souvenirs.
Ended the night back at Sun Moon Lake, walking by the it....
And also listening to the performance by a little girl and a guy.
Their performance was great and i always love stumbling upon such performances(:
