Before you collect your baggage, you can purchase your Taiwan SIM card.

They have different packages for different days.
I got mine from 遠傳電信 (FarEasTone), which is the middle booth. 

I do not really know what is the differences? But i just got the cheapest. 

30 days Unlimited data + NT $550 stored value = NT$800

Once you exit from the arrival gate, turn left, take the escalator down.

Since my first stop is at Taichung, there are 2 choices as shown below. 

I simply chose the one that is the earliest timing since there is no differences. 

Remember to grab some snacks/ drinks onboard as the journey is pretty long.

Bus ticket: NT $240

Duration- Approximately 2.5 hours. 

(May be delayed due to traffic conditions)

Majority of the day was spent on travelling.
I only managed to reach Taichung at around 10-ish, and finally checked in.
