Reasons why you should visit Finland- Lapland
Top 10 things to do:
1. Stay in a cottage with private sauna and roll in the snow
2. Visit a reindeer farm and go sledging
Everything just became so magical during the ride.
3. Gather around firewood to keep warm and BBQ
4. Husky Sledging
It was a pretty thrilling experience moving through the snow safaris.
Fast and bumpy at times.
You get to alternate between just lying back and controlling the sledge.
5. Snow mobile in the safari
The scenery is simply breathtaking and cannot get sick of the view.
Do remember to have your driving licences along,
if you want to be the one ridding on it.

6. Eat Reindeer meat
As exotic as it sounds, this is one of the traditional food in Finland.
If you are not daring enough to have a steak yourself, just share a pizza with your friends.
7. Aurora Hunting
Definitely a dream come true being able to see the northern lights on the last night.
In fact, we are super lucky because we waited in the cold for quite a few nights,
and we even paid $70 Euros for an aurora hunting trip....but to no avail.
P.s. Download an aurora forecast app and turn on the notifications.
Also, make sure you do have a DSLR with correct settings to take photos!
8. Go Skii-ing
It was tedious and tiring for a noob like me, but it was still fun falling in the snow.
It's the company that really matters anyway.

9. Visit Santa Claus Village and post a letter back home
The Santa Claus is originated from Finland and this is the home of the Santa!!!
Do visit Santa Claus and say hi to him when you are there.
But since it's very much a touristy place, things/ photos are pretty expensive.
But, for the it's free to enter and interact, so why not?
Also, post a letter from Santa Claus Village back home for memory.
10. Take a photo to show that you crossed the Arctic Circle/ Get a chop on your passport.
