Days in Europe: DAY 19
Venice- 07.05.2015
Started the day pretty early as there are quite a few in the list to do/ visit.
Joined the Venice Free Walking Tour. (Click Here)
I signed up for it earlier and joined the 11am session.
The duration of it was around 2.5 hours.
They do not really visit much of the tourist attractions,
but the guide do give us a lot of other informations about the city.
I do enjoy it very much, walking through and knowing some of the tiny hidden details.

Masks, which was wear in the olden days during festivals.
Different masks are used by different people, and wow, it's interesting.
Bought a water bus day pass which will last for 1 day.
1 Day travel card: $20.00 Euros
2 Day travel card: $30.00 Euros
3 Days travel card: $40.00 Euros
7 Days travel card: $60.00 Euros
Bought it since we decided that we are doing a day trip to Burano.
Also, since that will allow us to travel in the water bus as many times as we want.
Getting there was rather easy, we followed the transport map which is easy to understand.

The view was gorgeous, enjoying the breeze in our faces while we are on the water bus.
Colourful houses in Bruano which is so cheerful looking.
Definitely they have many spots which is good for photo-taking.

It is not very big, but a small happy island with small shops and restaurants.
After all the photo-taking, we had a quick lunch before heading back to Venice.
Went to look for this old school bookstore- Liberia Acqua Alta
You should probably enter when you are around that area
as it's one of the most interesting bookstore i have been to.
I think it has been around for a long time and survived the flooding of venice.
However, the downside was that there are lots of mosquitoes in it.
I merely entered the bookstore for a good 10 minutes, and got bitten quite badly.
The Little Prince Book.
Went back to our apartment to chill, and stumbled upon this standing bar/ restaurant that is crowded.
Of course we went back in and it was such a good choice.
Every mouthful came at such a surprise and it's indeed delicious.
Asked them for recommendations and they just grabbed different dishes for us.
It was something like tapas concept from Spain.
It was a pity that i did not remember the name of the place.
But it was pretty near my accommodation.
The red drink is alcoholic and it's one of the popular drink in Venice.
They have it in 2 colours, and i think the red one is sweeter.
(This was what the tour guide told us during the walking tour.)
Took the water bus to enjoy the night view of Venice.
This was where we ended out walking tour.
Doge's Palace
After the sun sets and before it turns dark.
Love how there was music played from the hotel cafe nearby while chilling around this area.
Romantic Venice.
Another kind of feel from the day.
Gelato before calling it a day!
This ice cream was really good. Do try it when you are in Venice.
Look at how pretty looking it is. Love the colour of the mint scoop.
