Days in Europe: DAY 16
04.06.2015
Got tickets for Florence- Pisa- La Spezia Centrale the day before.
Please get tickets in advance but prolly in the afternoon/ evening.
Because there are just too many people wanting to get tickets and the wait is pretty long.
There is a total of 2 choices of tickets:
1. Get 1 ticket from Florence-La Spezia straight, which allows you to stop over at Pisa.
I think the duration of the stop is 6 hours.
2. Get 2 separate tickets- Florence-Pisa, Pisa- La Spezia Centrale.
(Slightly more expensive but gives you more flexibility)
I got the 2nd choice because i was scared that i will miss the trains and all.
But i guess you can do well with the 1st option if you check train timings carefully.
And you probably will not need too much time over at Pisa.
P.s. take note that there are different kinds of trains.
The high speed one and the normal ones and
only board the normal ones if you did not buy the more expensive ones.
Took a train from Florence-Pisa
Dropped our luggage off at the central station since we didn't want to lug them around.
I forgot the prices, but it wasn't too expensive.
I am sure you do not want to take photos worrying about your luggages!
Pisa the leaning tower-
People doing all sorts of FUNKY and touristy poses with it.
Arrived at La-Spezia Centrale and checked into our apartment.
Booked Lia Rooms from Agoda (Click Here)
P.s. Do note that the address stated there may not be where you are staying.
Thus, please email them or give them a call before arriving.
