Day 1: 20.05.2015
First Stop: Paris
A dream city for me and i've always looked forward to visiting!
Took an norwegian airplane from Helsinki to Paris-ORLY airport.
Spotted a rainbow on the plane just before landing...
Arrived in Paris at about 7.05 pm
I got the tickets at a very good deal about 2 months before.
Cost: $35.00 Euros

Cheapest way to get from ORLY airport-Paris city centre:
(Normal transport ticket will allow you to take this)
Single ticket: $1.70 Euros
Bundle ticket: $14.10 Euros/ 10 tickets

Take Tram 7 from South Terminal.
There will be signs for you to get to the tram stop.
Alight at the last tram stop and change to metro.
For metro, you will need another single ticket.
Total no. of tickets: 2
I recommend that you get a bundle of 10 as you can use it within paris as well.
It was pretty bad that we took a much longer time than expected to reach our accommodation.
The Metro line that we were supposed to take, stopped operating.
This was because the train drivers were on strike.
It was really chaotic and we were pretty lost.
In the end we took a bus over to our accommodation after asking around.
By the time we settled in, we were already tired and hungry.
Thus, we just grabbed dinner over at McDonalds and call it a day.

Paris Day 2- 21.05.2015
Started the day with Sandemans Tour at 11.00am.
They do have another time slot at 1.00pm
Duration: Approximately 3 Hours
Meeting Point: Fountain on Place St. Michel
Recommend that you pre-book the trip online to guarantee yourself a place.
The tour is really popular and there is a possibility that you can't get on the tour.

The clear skies just make Paris look so beautiful and i am totally in love with it.
 Louvre museum
Lots of people here, either queuing up to enter the museum, or just chilling around.
If you are interested in museums and arts like my brother, do go for it!
There are many well-know pieces inside the museum.
The whole place is really huge as well, so do make sure you go in early.

All the love locks... a common scene you can see almost on every bridge.

Had a break in between the tour and we decided to eat some CREPES.
Do try some when you are in Paris!
But they are pretty expensive. We got 1 sweet and 1 savoury.
And they cost around $16.00 Euros.
Tuileries Gardens
There are plenty of gardens around and they all just feel so nice to chill there.

People are just sitting around to read a book, having a picnic or just hanging out with friends.
The end stop of the walking tour is somewhere at the end of the park,
where you can see the eiffel tower from there.
We took a metro to somewhere nearer to the Eiffel Tower.
We had lunch over at this restaurant before heading there.
 Don't they all look yummy?
Indeed, they tasted really good. I ordered the duck confetti and i loved it.
We spent around $42.50 Euros for 3 main course with drinks.
This is considered pretty cheap given the location and quality of food.
Then, we walked over to where the Eiffel Tower is and i am so excited seeing it real finally.
Took many photos at the field in front of the eiffel tower. So pretty.
Bought tickets up to the Eiffel Tower.
Adult Price: $15.50 Euros
Student Price: $13.50 Euros
We got the ones with the lift, where you can get to the highest point.
You can get a ticket that allow you go take the stairs up to the second level.
We planned to go up in the evening time so that we can catch the sunset overseeing the city.
People do tell me that it's over-rated and not worth it to get up...
But i totally recommend to get up.
Greeted with this gorgeous sunset when we were at the highest point.
Maybe it's just too crowded and it seemed impossible to get a proper photo up there.
But other than that, all is awesome.

 Overseeing the city of Paris.
We stayed at the top till it was dark and that the Eiffel Tower Light up.
Maybe i have always liked the Eiffel Tower, so all these just seemed so unreal.

Tip: Do only get up when the weather is good.
(My friend says that it was all cloudy and misty when she went up during winter)
Night view of the Eiffel Tower when it is lighted up.
Ended the day with a big smile.
