10 days in Netherlands/ Belgium: DAY 7
12.03.2015-Day trip to Bruge.
I have a friend doing exchange in Belgium, and we planned a meet up.
Bruge-
It is in the northwest Belgium, having canals, cobbled streets and medieval building
Really a beautiful and chill town.

After many steps, and having it getting narrower as we head up, we were greeted by such a view...
Break stop over at Lizzie's Wafels.
Apart from their wafels which we did not order,
we came for their tulip hot chocolate.
We are give the choice of different kinds of chocolate.
It will come in tulip and a cup of hot milk.
We are supposed to drop the chocolate into the milk and stir.
After a quick lunch, we went for the boat cruise along the canals.
It cost: $8.00 Euros.
We cannot hear the guide at all, so we were just enjoying the beauty of this small town.
If only the boat is not as crowded, it will be perfect.

We went to a beer place that my friend recommended.
It was tucked in one of the lanes that people will probably have missed.
Belgium Beer.
Belgium chocolates that everyone should get also!
They melt in your mouth and tasted so good...
There are many shops to choose from and there are free tasting.
So you can choose one that you like.

I bought a small box for myself before heading back to Brussels.
Dinner over at a restaurant that has nice ambience.
Another Belgium national dish- Flemish Beef and Beer Stew.
Very very yummy!
